Our Lead Partner, Ras MANYO offers a diverse and accomplished experience and profound insights derived from careers as a senior internationally trained military officer and senior banking and finance professional banker with a specialism in risk and insurance management. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana; an Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF), and the Ghana Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Advisors (GARIA).
In military service, Ras held many senior leadership responsibilities and appointments and achieved significant successes in operations and intelligence planning and staff support in peace and unstable environments in many countries.
The highlight of 10 years in banking and finance practice is in investor relations as part of a major acquisition of a mid-size Bank and post-acquisition responsibility for special assets management: a C-Level role that included turnaround and corporate restructuring, credit risk & debt structuring, key customer relationship management and a variety of bank-wide support functions in special investigations and due diligence, operational risk management, change management and strategic planning.
He is therefore adept at putting data and information in the right context, interpreting it to support businesses make informed assumptions and decisions. When the situation demands it, he will step out, take charge and collaborate in multi-cultural, cross-professional and multidisciplinary teams that time and again have achieved outstanding results.
